MASSIVE FLOOD CHANGES SVC'S LOWER LEVEL

Early last Sat. Feb. 27, a 4 inch water main broke below the West nursery wall. After the 7 fire trucks left and the 2 small pumps finished their 6 hrs of pumping,  cleaners moved in and threw out our kitchen, nursery, bathrooms and storage areas. Flood waters touched the ceilings of the house and church basements, tunnel between house and church bldgs, 5 ft in the kitchen and commons dining and the nursery floor, now full of sand, is buckled with a hole under foundation.  (more at ABOUT US)

Students Against Hunger

Students Against Hunger (SAH) is a student organization that makes nutrious dehydrated meals which are shipped to crisis areas around the world, especially Haiti. SAH is a satellite of Kids Against Hunger. Finished boxes were floating in the Commons. Each sealed bag must be inspected and washed.  See more information here.
